  • Uluru

The Central Australian landscape of which Uluru and Kata Tjuta are an important part is believed to have been created at the beginning of time by Ancestral Beings.

Formed about 550 million years ago. Back then, the ranges were much taller than they are now, rainwater flowed down the mountains, eroding sand and rock and dropping it in big fan shapes on the plains.
